Paris- Montmartre

Oil on canvas, 2026

I adore Paris and I adore Pissarro’s city scapes… this piece is my representation of a boulevard in Montmartre. Years ago we got caught in a downpour around sunset, so beautiful and hilarious as people ran for cover…. Soon the clouds broke and the sun continue its journey.

In the spring of 2025 I painted a series of Arrowleaf Balsamroot. This large, vibrant wildflower blooms plentiful in our surrounding foothills. After the snow melts, these perennials slowly emerge from what seems like a grey-sage mess into vibrant yellow blooms out of large sage green leaves.

Valley Views- Columbia River North

This view was painted plein-air, entirely on sight. The work has a fresh impressionistic light to it, capturing the beautiful September afternoon. The view is from a public dock, located near the public boat launch, near Pybus Market, Wenatchee, WA.

The sun-soaked golden hills , blue skies, and lush green shoreline reflect on the calm waters. A perfect 80 degree day enjoyed by boaters, kayakers, and paddle boards. A day remembered!

Valley Views- Columbia River East

11 x 20 inches

Oil on Canvas

$300 SOLD

This work was made standing on a public dock, looking East. The dock is near Pybus Public Market in Wenatchee Washington. This plein-air work was finished on an early afternoon on a beautiful September day. The work listed above was painted the day before, on a sunny, calm day. This work was painted as the wind began to pick up throughout the afternoon, the water was much more active, inspiring brightly lt and shimmering areas. The pipeline bridge is in the distance, bringing water to orchards against the hills. The mighty Columbia River strikes a powerful presence against the golden, barren hills.

Valley Views- Porters Pond

11 x 14

Oil on linen

$200 SOLD!

Porters Pond is a magnificent natural swimming hole, complete with a rope swing, located off the Loop Trail in East Wenatchee. In late summer, the place is sun soaked with gorgeous purple wild flowers. It almost seems unreal, certainly a place that you must see to believe. The oxbow river view focuses on the current, gently pushing herself through, and flowing outwards to the shore line and filling in the swimming hole. The moon rises quietly over the orchard-laced hills as the sun sets behind us.

Valley Views- Porters Pond West

12 x 12 inch

Oil on board

$200 SOLD!

September Sunsets burst with color looking West from Porters Pond in East Wenatchee, along the Columbia River. The late summer wildflowers seem unreal the purples, yellows and green loudly applauding the yellows, oranges, purples of the early evening sunset.

Boat Launch East

8 x 20in

Oil on Aluminum

$100 SOLD

This small work was begun on site. The view is from along the shore just above the public boat launch, near Pybus Market in Wenatchee, WA. The work was finished in a Monet style- keeping the brushstrokes short and active while layering on the color. It was a beautiful warm September day, the kind that brings a calm smile. This painting describes that smile.
