Oil on Canvas

Windows - like you’d see in an old factory. Sunlight seems to be fighting to be filtered through the thick glass.

This oil painting was completed in 1987. The underpainting was made with bright warm hues of reds and oranges. The Blues were layered on thickly and scraped away. The story is about line and action, shape and holding one’s attention to the abstract.

See it hanging in its first public showing: at Off The Hill Tasting Room, Pybus Market, Wenatchee, WA.
